Red Oak
Rift and quartered Red Oak floor from 1930’s. Floors in older homes are made from old growth trees. Trees have to be over 150 years old to be considered old growth! The only way to get old growth is from reclaimed wood since all old growth forests are now protected. Old growth floors have a unique one of a kind luster when finished.
