Red Oak

Rift and quartered Red Oak floor from 1930’s. Floors in older homes are made from old growth trees. Trees have to be over 150 years old to be considered old growth! The only way to get old growth is from reclaimed wood since all old growth forests are now protected. Old growth floors have a unique one of a kind luster when finished. ~ Brainerd, MN

Reclaimed Pine

Pine glued down over concrete. Boards average 10” in width with the largest measures over 17” wide. Wood was reclaimed from an old barn in southern MN! Polyurethane finish. ~ Brainerd, Mn

Pre-finished Hickory

Fewer knots give the floor a less rustic than traditional Hickory floors. 9 layers of aluminum oxide based finish baked on give superior protection. ~Glenwood Springs, Co.

Oak Countertop

Made from left over Red Oak flooring. Cut into strips, glued and nailed on-site and then sanded and finished after installation. It is about half the cost of butcher block countertops made off site and then installed a whole unit. ~ Brainerd, MN

Teakwood

Teak. This exotic species was imported from India. It was hand scraped and milled into flooring. Each species of wood creates its’ own energy and using and exotic species is a great way to discover this. This is just one of the many ways to personalize your floor. ~Snowmass, Colorado
